About Dr. Gibbs...
Dr. Kristi Gibbs is an Assistant Professor and the coordinator of the Community Counseling Program for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Dr. Gibbs received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education with a minor in Play Therapy from the University of New Orleans in 2004. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Dr. Gibbs is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and Tennessee and a Registered Play Therapist as well as a member of the American Counseling Association, Tennessee Counseling Association, the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision and International Association for Play Therapy. Dr. Gibbs is also the president-elect for the Tennessee Association of Counselor Education and Supervision.
